First and foremost let me say that my intention is not to ruin the film for others, but to warn. It is a long film. And by long I mean in that OMGwillthismovieeverend?IhavebeenheresolongIambloatedandmyasshurts kinda way. It is almost a good movie though. Spider-Man fans will like most scenes. It easily could have been 3 movies though. There was so much. Just. So. Much. I can’t really add more than what was said by Kia and Scott. Except that Topher Grace looked really cute. Oh, and as Venom he had a bigger package than Spidey. Heh. Okay, I am done with that.
The really cool part of the night was the company. It was a huge gay event! Huge! And gay! No it wasn’t a gay theater, I don’t think we have one here in San Diego. The whole thing was arranged by a charming yet mysterious gentleman. From what I understand he did a mass email to his group, who emailed their group. There was some texting back and forth with more email. We all showed up at the designated time and met in the lobby. Turns out there were almost 25 ‘family members’ viewing together in the same theater in the same section of seats. Kinda cool! I felt way gay though. Not that there were all nelly queens in attendance. Quite the diverse group. It was awesome! We are trying to find a ‘social circle’ here in San Diego to fit into, so something like this was a great thing for Richard and I to do as a couple. I hope there are more! I haven’t even mentioned that it was a great excuse to actually go see a movie. It has been years since we have set foot in a theater…
Anyhoo, I need to think about bed soon. Nighty night internets!

Dang. I didn’t notice Venom’s package. I was too busy being creeped out by his teeth.
