Ow. My head…

One thing I have been doing to loose weight is avoid sugar. There is a lot of sugar in booze. So, I have been avoiding booze. Well last night I was in a celebratory mood (OMG iPhone!!) so I had Richard whomp me up some Appletinis. I had 4. Four doesn’t really sound like a lot. Well, it does… but I had 2 before dinner and feasted on tacos before I had the last 2. Apparently that was more than enough to render me useless this morning. I slept poorly. I am sure due to all the sugar my body isn’t used to. My head hurts. I am dehydrated. I probably smell.

Ew.

I am missing the big breakfast with ‘the group’. Luckily no one was really expecting me for that. Everyone knows I am NOT a morning person. So now I have an hour or 2 to rebuild myself and get cute. I AM expected for shopping.

How did I fall behind like this? The rules clearly state that I have to post every day… I guess I figured that I had posted like crazy the last few days I was off the hook. Gah! I don’t have time for my little OCD tricks either! You know the one where if you misspell a word you have to delete every letter you posted since then as punishment for the misspelling?

Ya, I know I’m nuts.

So how was the day here at dp.com? Well. Let me tell you. I feel like an ass.

Well, thats what they say. Today would not cooperate though. I woke up with an amazing cramp in my neck. Thank god for Advil.! I then innocently started the coffee that Richard had prepared the night before. Waiting for the Advil to kick in, I went to check my email. In a few moments I heard a lot of water drip noise. I went to look out the window, only to realize that it was coming from the kitchen. All I can say is eeew. The smell of burning coffee accompanied by the visual of coffee grounds floating on your counter is quite something that early in the morning. Turns out he hadn’t put in a filter. It took 30 minutes to clean all of it up. So much for a good morning, huh? At least I made it to work on time. Unshaven.
