Bad news.

It all started like 2 months or so ago. My mouth was bothering me. Not like pain but it wasn’t right, at first. I knew I was clenching my jaw in my sleep. I’d clench so tight and suck my mouth closed so hard that it would wake me up. Then one day I woke up and my teeth hurt. Like all my teeth. Driving to work and later back I could feel every bump in the road as pain… in my TEETH! I was at that point trying to not close my mouth due to the pain. So I knew I was a month or so away from a dentist visit so I dealt with it. Clenching all night. Hurt-y all day trying to not close my jaw. Actually I think you can see it in my Twitter avatar, the way my mouth is slightly open instead of my usual pucker face. Hahah.

This morning I had a dentist appointment. Usually not a big deal. I have a boring mouth (no cavities!). Today was quite the adventure! Not because of me. I love a good scraping. It was the entertainment factor. You see, it is an office that offers sedation dentistry. We go there because my dear sweet Richard has a issue with dentistry. Anyway, there was a sedated patient in the next room over. It was not going well. He was totally out of it, but not enough for them to do what they needed to do. He was trying to speak, coughing, gagging. All that fun stuff. Then he decides he has to pee. There are only girls working today so they put me ‘on notice’ that I may need to go with him for his safety. He was that out of it. At first I was thinking ew, yanno? But then I thought “is he hawt?” I didn’t say that though. He changed his mind about the bathroom and threw up again. They called his wife to get him. Heh. Poor guy. I tried to get a look in there on my way out, but no luck.

Malibu Barbie, my hygenist assured me that my Richard never has those issues…

It is amazing what you can squeeze into a day off if you wake up a little earlier. Who knew? Well, as nice as it was to get a lot done I don’t think I’ll be popping out of bed and racing out of the house as my new routine.

So my first task of the day was a trip to the gym. I had a great workout and a sultry wink from a cute alterna-chick! Fantastic!

Then I had to shower and race off to the dentist. Now I used to love going to the dentist. I always love having lick-able clean teeth. But this past year has been hard. Since when does the scraping pick thing plug in and vibrate? I causes me pain! I think my dental hygienist was making fun of me in the back room. I had requested that she scrape my teeth the old fashioned way. At least I survived the ordeal with no cavities.

The next stop on the list was a hair cut. I hate getting my haircut. I’ve been to the same little man three times now. The first two times he did a great job. This time we had some sort of fallout in our communication. It came out so short. Literally. I literally have no hair. I guess I won’t need a hair cut before Mexico!

Last stop: The grocery.

All in all a successful day. (Yes, I am a little link-happy today.)
