Work Half The Night, Get A Dead Mouse.
making a livingwhaat!

Well I got through the day okay. It was a little strange how high energy I was. More strange is how I just didn’t eat all day. I mean, you start at 4, and just do projects till the store opens. Then you go to Starbucks. Then all of a sudden you are done! I kinda like it, except for the part where I came home and went right to sleep on the couch till 4 in the afternoon. That part sucked. I hate napping. Total waste of time in my opinion.

Anyhoo, funny story. I had gone back out after my nap to fetch my dry-cleaning and some meat for a quick dinner. (SYTYCD party again tonight!) I was on my way back when I noticed a home in our neighborhood with a tent over it. You know the ones? What are those for anyway? I suppose I *could* Google it, but really… When you are trying to trap inside whatever it is you are fumigating for, it can’t be anything good. Plus, how embarrassing. They aren’t even trying to be subtle. It’s like a circus tent right on the corner! Bright yellow and blue stripes!

The thing obviously made me wonder about what sort of pests and how they spread. The usual OCD thoughts. I felt all itchy too, you know how you do when you think about bugs?

So I get to the house and Richard is home. We banter a bit about our day as he ate a yogurt. Out of nowhere he announces that there is a dead mouse on the floor. A dead mouse! How can that be? How’d it get in? Does it have anything to do with The Tent? Was it fleeing when the poison finally got it? HOW DID IT GET IN???

Richard sprung into action. First, he finished his yogurt. Then he leaned in… As he went to get it, he figured he might need more light… I mean, it was a corpse. I switched them on. All of them. It was at that point where he realized that..

The Dry Cleaning Fiasco.
aw, lovewhat's up?

Hey, so here’s one. I asked Richard what I should blog about today. He mentioned the dry cleaning fiasco. Hahah. Not funny, but now clearly I have to bring the entire Internets up to speed on our mutual idiocy. You see, we have a lot of dry cleaning. A retail gig is really all about dressing fancy while running around and sweating your ass off all day, right? So yeah. We go to the cleaners a lot. Anyhoo. Yeah, so we (as in I) dropped off all of the soiled shirts and pants, as well as Richard’s tuxedo. He intended to wear it for an upcoming thing, you see. He needed it back by today. Saturday.

Anyway. The intent was always that he was going to pick up the stuff, as he was off work really early Saturday (today). Are you following all this buildup?
