So it’s that time again. I am renewing my commitment to getting in shape. *sigh* I know. Again.
Here’s the thing: I have maintained a pretty steady body weight since a year ago when I did this. That’s a good thing, but not entirely honest. Early on when I first felt I was close to my goal I gained back like 8 pounds, then maintained from there. I really never got to where I wanted to be… (I wanted to see ABS) I have a few reasons for that. I think I was focused on having an amazing spring and summer. I did too! So many good times with my peeps!! So many brunches! So many nights at Urban Mo’s! So many cosmos! OMG SO MANY FRIED GREEN BEANS!! I also had stress at work… All the usual excuses.
Needless to say my continued efforts with cardio only kept me where I was. 8 pounds heavier than my initial weight loss. ‘Blah blah you look fine blah blah…’ It’s about goals people.
Goals.
(And writing it here on the net makes it real, thanks.)
