My friend Charlie wanted some audio off of a YouTube video for a ringtone. I was gonna help out, but his link was to a deleted video! Gah! But I found what I *think* might be the same… I haven’t heard from Charlie yet, but here’s my resulting audio clip… I think it’s hilarious! Especially if your name is Charlie! Hah!

Okay, the good news? I am feeling better. I stayed in bed extra long.. I think that shot of Nyquil at 7 in the morning helped with the additional rest… Ya think? It’s nice to be feeling a bit more normal. Don’t get me wrong tho, I am still gonna sit on my ass as much as possible today. Heh. The bad news is that Richard has become this deranged combo of Bree and Martha Stewart. He is walking around humming, muttering under his breath, and singing. Insane, I tell you.

I went downstairs as soon as I woke up. At noon. He already had placed the serving platters, spread out glasses and the wine selection, moved furniture around, and had the warming dishes staged. Every platter had a post-it note labeling what will go in it. Everything staged and ready. Right down to the paper plates and napkins. He walked over to the warming dishes, muttered something, reversed the placement, nodded, and shuffled up the stairs. I think he’s losing it. But I have to say, looking at the staged serving ware, it is going to be a lovely spread. I just hope he settles on a flattering lighting arrangement without too many candles. No one has time to monitor all of that.

I wish I could help more, but it is better I rest. Besides, one of us has to remain sane.

I feel kinda spoiled.

Richard was off today. I had to work. Not spoiled so far, I know. So anyway, Richard was off, and the plan was that he’d spend the day getting some of the dishes for Thursday ready. That of course started with major groceries. So knowing that, I figured dinner would be minimal if not take out. I even called to see what I could bring home, you know, to help out. He said I didn’t need to stop.

I came home to not only find him cooking for the Thanksgiving potluck we are going to, but a rather nice dinner too! I went up to change and saw that he remembered my dry cleaning AND changed the bed. Aw!

Does anyone know the name of the font used in my ‘...was i there?’ vertical title?? I really want to find it, but do you have any idea how many fonts are out there?? I’ve spent 20 minutes looking and I am already getting a headache!

frustrated

Yesterday was a great day off. Today it’s back to reality. The sun is even shining brightly to remind me of that. No romantic rain today....

I feel really accomplished though. I already got dinner going, and it’s only noon! Actually, Richard did all the prep last night. It was my job to put it in the crock pot and turn it on. But still, I helped! That counts. Right? Right?
