Opening number looks to be inspired by the internet famous zombie number, only drowned people? Good, but not as good as the zombie number in my opinion. Wade choreographed both.
Cat looks human tonight! Cute even! The dress is very cute, feathered… although I think she ran out of time in make-up. What’s with that hair? Speaking of hair, when did Mary get those highlights? Erm?
Debbie Allen sits in as judge. Update on Cedric. He’s going to her dance academy.
On to the show!
Solos: Sabra looked cute! High energy. Straight hair? Lauren danced to Pat Benatar. LOVE Pat Benatar! She did a lot of spinning.. Okay. Lacey danced to What I Like About You. More spinning, but with no pants OR shoes.
On to the boys! Pasha was topless! hawt! Cat asked if it was wash day… Poor Cat. Neil had a shirt this time. Aw! However he danced with ‘conviction’ (Richard’s word, but it works). Ah hell! Danny wore a shirt too! Damn! His solo was very emotional. Loved it.
Side note: Cat really does look good. I am a bit shocked…
We move on to the “Teaching Teacher” bit.
Next up: a Krumping performance. I like it. Nice to finally have an idea how this style should look.
Results time!! Lacey safe. I am glad. She was my second choice. So sexay! Danny safe. Woo! Hot, hot, hot! Sabra is safe!! No surprise, but this girl is growing on me! Go Sabra!
In an unprecedented move (as far as I know) they clear out the studio audience to maintain integrity of the show results, due to the advanced taping. People looked pissed! Wow!
Lauren is going home. Nigel supports her. Mary loves her (So the Paula). Debbie spews a really safe response.
Neil is safe. Pasha goes home! Damn! (But really, if Danny was my first choice, then Neil, why am I upset?) Nigel says he’s grown as a dancer, Mary actually tears and calls him “an ambassador of Ballroom Dance”. Debbie suggested acting lessons! She likes him!

Okay so I missed another night of SYTYCD performances. And apparently the results are on Monday this week. So I am home alone and free tomorrow night (tonight?). Anybody want to get together?
I will as always, put those following SYTYCD in the hands of Blogging So You Think You Can Dance. Unlike me, they never miss a show. I did happen to catch bits and pieces in the break room. I am really liking the Sabra this time. But then I did miss 80 percent of the progrum. At least I have some time to get caught up before the results.
Here’s Sabra and Neil! Hawt!

So You Think You Can Dance was was another great time! Our hosts were lovely, and the company was exceptional, as always. I love our friends! Thanks guys!
Now on to the show. First of all, Cat almost looked normal. I still found her look a bit fembot-ish. Cat’s Evidence Of Insanity™ moment of the night was when she introduced the GeeGees. GeeGees?? Was she really doing baby talk on national television? The audience shouted ‘judges’ like normal though. Phew. Speaking of judges, Nigel and Mary were joined by Adam Shankman. I like him. Total ‘family’. Heh. And what was with Mary’s look tonight. Her boobs! She was like all boobs and teeth! Argh! Tonight we saw two dances from each couple.
First up, Danny and Sarah. I have to admit, Danny has got something about him that makes me swoon a bit. That said, I thought him and Sarah were hawt. Sex, sexy, sensual, sex! OMG Sarah being able to do half of what she did in those boots! Wow. Later they did Hip Hop to Salt-N-Pepa. I got all nostalgic and had a great time, others in my group weren’t feeling it so much.
Dominic and Lauren. Wow. Dominic was Jaimie’s partner last week and I think played a part in her going home. Anyway, meh. I wasn’t feeling the first ‘Krump’ performance at all. Adam loved it. I think he was tonight’s Paula. These two had the Rumba next. We weren’t thrilled, and I think the judges weren’t either.
Neil and Lacey were fun! The controversy around Neil being topless and what not. Heh. Adam said that soon the show’d be called “So You Think You Can Dance, Naked” LOL. True though, need a few votes? Latin Jazz. I thought it was sexy, but the judges pointed out the performance was lacking. Specifically, they did the dance as pupils and had no chemistry. These two sure shined when Mia got a hold of them with a Contemporary number. (Mia’s kewpie doll hair makes me smile) It was highly emotional, having been inspired by real life. Mary was sobbing, and unable to comment. Adam LOVED on Mia for the whole thing. Nigel thought it was beautiful. The stage was covered with flowers. I found it odd they actually put a tripping hazard out for the dancers…
Pasha and Sabra rocked. Both numbers (Broadway and Quickstep) were amazing. The judges agreed. I really like Sabra, but I still favor Lacey. Hm. My group loves Sabra, and enjoyed both performances.
I wasn’t going to mention this. I can’t NOT talk about it though. You know at the end how they all dance around onstage while the credits start? Well, there was this part where someone said “Hey wait! Dominic got a wedgie!” We actually wound it back. He does a move on the floor, gets up, and totally picks his ass! Let me say that again. He picked his ASS on National Television. LOL.
Who’s leaving? I think Dominic for the guys. I am unsure with the girls after tonight.

Hey yo. The Idol Bois meet again, though not for American Idol… That’s so last month. Now we are doing So You Think You Can Dance... I should come up with a new name for our little group, eh? Anyhoo, tonight was a little different, as we were joined by some new people. Hi new people! They were actually really sweet. I love the new people we are meeting these days! Our friends have the cutest friends… On a sad note we were missing one of the original, if not THE original Idol Boi tonight. We missed you Fred!!
Okay, now down to business. Remember last week when I wondered if my friends would think I was weird if I took notes? Well, they totally didn’t. In fact, I had forgotten to bring a note pad and our hosts totally brought me one. Heh. Now just to read them…
The first pair to perform was Lauren and Neil. That Neil is cuter than I thought. The style was Hip Hop. Mia thought they were ‘better than last week’. Mary ‘just loved it’. (Mary still annoys me.) Nigel felt that tonight they were ‘setting the bar’. I actually feel sorry for them being first. It is hard to remember how they did, even with notes yo.
Next we had Pasha and Jessi. The style was ‘Stiff Jazz’. What is that? The movements were nature inspired, as in like bird like. Mia said that she ‘loves birds’ and that it was ‘amazing’. Mary stated the obvious, that ‘you are both beautiful people’. Nigel seemed to just plug the show. Hrm. They are both seriously pretty though, at least we thought so…
