Or more accurately, working the weekend. Three to midnight no less. I already feel frustrated about missing all the fun stuff my friends are probably doing..

So we are sitting at the bar at Chevy’s cause we love chatting with the lady bartender. (And the traffic was murder due to the Big Game so we had rendezvoused there instead of going straight home..) So we are gabbing amongst ourselves mostly but she chimes in when she hears something to reply too. It’s casual like that. That’s why we love her. Anyhoo, so we are bitching about the weather and I say, more to her than to Richard “I just bought myself my very first designer sunglasses and it’s overcast!” She totally chortled. I know she totally got what I was saying, but in the meantime Richard said I was a dork.

Come on. You get it, right internets??

Today has been bad. A bad day. So naturally I decided to do a podcast. I never learn! I should call it ‘...was i bitching?’ LOL!

Anyhoo, (as I say at least 20 times on the podcast) I gab aboot everything from retail to web 2.0! Music from the Death Becomes Her Soundtrack.

(Yes, I almost broke my trunk… Don’t ask. And don’t let my sour mood fool ya. Life is good. I just like to vent online. Totally not good. I am working on it.)

I am trying to stay up late tonight because of my “overnight shift” tomorrow. My theory is that I will sleep in late tomorrow, and thus be fresher for my nine p.m. to six a.m. shift. Umm, yeah. So I have been surfing around the web (which is mostly boring me today) just trying to stay awake. Although Kenny has a poignant post about his adventures in dating that makes me glad I’m not single. I can so relate to the emotional rollercoaster! I would not want to get back into that pool! Oh, and Erica posted that little monster that makes me laugh again.

I am enjoying a nice glass few glasses of red wine that is are not helping me stay awake at all. I did figure out a few website type things tonight though, so at least I’m somewhat productive! You’ll notice added buttons, a favicon (if your browser allows), and a web-ring link. Yes that is boring reading, but what do you expect at 2:38 a.m.?

My sinuses hurt, and have all day, from sleeping with the windows open in the dead of winter, well California winter, but it’s cold on the peninsula! Our “luxury” apartment has some issues with moisture, and the only way to keep the bedroom windows from being dripping wet in the morning is to keep them open a crack. But it is the nicest place I have lived since Mom & Dad’s so no complaining aloud. I do feel bad for Richard, all cold and alone in bed right now… but he has to be up really early to go to work tomorrow. I wish we didn’t both work retail. Maybe our schedules could match better…

So what will I do with my day tomorrow? I do need to go to Target, and the grocery. I am not excited to drive all over town in a unregistered car though, so I may skip all that. I do want to at least get to the gym but that involves going right past the police station. Ugghh.

Maybe I should ask the Eight Ball what to do. (via Drama Queen)
