U.S.P.S. You Tease!
what's up?

SO after a long and exhausting day of slinging sweaters at work I was excited to check the mail. One of my few joys this time of year is, as you might have guessed, holiday cards. However as I dug through the mailbox, there weren’t any today. *Gasp* I was a bit bummed, but what can you do? I got back into the car and drove the rest of the way to my house. As I turned into the garage my headlights lit up the front porch. There was a box there! A big box!! From Amazon! This was way better than a card! My mind raced.. What ever could it be? Did I order anything? No.. Did Richard? Not sure.. Could it be a wish list item from one of my internet pals?!?

Anyway, I finally stopped speculating and got out of the car. All that thinking made me park really slowly. Anyway, I got to the box and read the label. Odd, I didn’t recognize the name. Must be looking at the wrong part of the label, but I didn’t recognize that name either. In fact the address was wrong too. It was delivered to the wrong address. I was not surprised, but immediately deflated. I think after my 6 - days a week and only 4 hours of sleep last night made me feel sensitive. I mean. What the hell, post office worker? Getting my hopes all up like that only to have them dashed away! To top it off, now I have the added burden to get this Amazon box delivered to the right place in time for the holidays. Does the post office pick up? I mean I cannot just set it out at the mail boxes, can I? I mean someone could take it. But I am not home enough for them to stop by.

I should just keep it. LOL! I kid. Interfering with mail is like illegal and junk! Besides the last time I did that it was just a bible inside. You see what happens? Bad juju interfering with mail. Except that was like UPS, but still.

But still. I am all teased and tortured now. Ugh.

Tech Trouble, Podcast # 18
it's a podcast!

So here we are after a long week. Sure it’s Wednesday to you, but for us retail folk it’s a new week just starting as we head face first into another holiday shopping weekend. Ugh. So if I seem a little down you’ll know why. Plus, I think I have a cold. Heh. Aren’t I fun?

In this podcast I bitch about a few things: Tech trouble and the Missouri Power Outage, my own power outage in San Diego, my cell phone problems, Target and their dirteh food, Lance and Reichen’s break-up (i said fiction instead of non-fiction tho. loser!), and my personal efforts to spread cheer across the internets with a sassy and personalized holiday Card.

Use the contact page if you want me to send a card. Hollar.

Attention Internets!
what's up?

It’s that time of year yet again for me to ask about holiday cards. I like to send them. I never use a whole box of cards. Well I used to never. Until last year when I bought the really offensive cards and sent them to my internet friends that loved them! Heh. And Richard thought he’d throw them out… Am I crazy to do it again? Maybe, but you could check my archives and figure out that I am crazy! As we did last year, you can contact me using the contact form or email me direct if you have my email address with your mailing info. (I promise I will not stalk you!) In exchange for your info you will receive a fancy, possibly even sassy holiday card addressed to you to add to your mantle (or table, or shelf, wherever you like to display holiday cards…). Heck, I’ll even personalize it.

If you got one last year you will get one again, so let me know if you have moved… you know who you are. Heh.

Hi. I'm Daniel. This is my blog. I don't update like I used to, but my awesomeness requires an actual website.
