Seven Till Whenever…
making a livingpop culturewhat's up?

My workday was a bit longer than I expected it to be. Someone was late so I kinda had to stay. I hate when that happens, but I am using it as my excuse to sleep in tomorrow. I was supposed to be in at 6 again, but that 6-3 business just kills me. I hate waking up at 4. Somehow that seems more like nighttime than morning, yanno? 5 is sooo much better. Well, I’d actually prefer to sleep till 10 but beggars and choosers and junk. At least I had no plans today. Richard is doing a gourmet meal tonight tho, so it is good that I was not forced to stay thru till closing. Heh. Oh, and it’s Grammys night! Just kidding. We prolly won’t watch that. Three and a half hours of acceptance speeches? Erm, no. Plus I am not thrilled enough with the music scene right now to care.

Oh, here’s something! I don’t think I mentioned that Richard got a new car. His lease was up so it was time for the next one. It’s another Passat, but much sportier than his last one. Maybe we’ll do pictures soon. It’s cute! Heh.

Tea Time With Daniel
bloggingwhat's up?

An astute reader of dp.com will realize that if I have resorted to the tea, I am unable to sleep. I am currently enjoying a hooge mug of sleepy time tea. Or is it nighttime tea? I forget. Wait, oh there it is! Right on the tag at the end of the string on the bag! How about that? Is that just fabulous? What a handy piece of marketing. A reminder even, so I can be sure to get it on my shopping list when I run low… Anyhoo, looks to be Sweet Dreams Herb Tea. Hm. I certainly hope so. I am restless tonight. I think I am just relieved to be off this weekend. Phew! Not that the week was bad, but you know.

So here I am with my enormous mug of Sweet Dreams Herb Tea.  It is an enormous mug too. It’s the one Richard actually uses for tea pretty regularly. It oddly has coffee drink names all over it in this kitch-y cursive writing. Is that ironic? I think so. Where was I? Oh, this week. Right. I am disoriented, can you tell? I don’t often just mentally download on my blog anymore. It feels weird yo. But not bad weird. I need to get back in the habit. Links are fun, but really are intended to be just a piece, a small part of what we here at dp.com offer. I actually have this huge post looming in my head, but I am torn about actually posting it. Some things might be better left un-posted. Maybe. I don’t know. We’ll see.

I think my tea is hitting me! I’d better get upstairs before I end up unconscious at the computer…
