Surprise walkthroughs that you hear about early.

I have been running my ass off all morning! Cleaning, organizing, mopping, and barking orders. All because my DM called to warn me of a major visit in four hours. So of course I feel obligated to work miracles before hand. It’s insane. I’m insane.

Don’t get me wrong, I am a firm believer in the surprise visit. I gives the visitor a real look at what is going on. I also like a lot of warning, so I could be really ready. I hate the “couple hours” notice. I think we’d have been okay as we were, but once I heard about it I thought “we should mop, and touch up all the displays”. That only led to more “last minute” ideas. The list just grew! Aahh!!

At least my boss came in and made me go to lunch. He’s not worried. In fact, I think he likes it. Weirdo.
