Well, fitness wise. I was even at the gym today! That’s 4 times out of the 8 days. Hmm. Not quiiite enough. I am supposed to be 5 to six days a week. I am blaming the mini-staycation post holidays. I earned the break. But now it’s back to business.

I expect you people to help hold me to it!!

I was at the gym this morning workin’ on my fitness when I realized something. All the trainers there are guys. Cute guys actually. But that’s not what I realized, I knew that. The thing is, I never see them training people that need training. I also haven’t seen them with male clients. Or brunettes. Just really cute blondes. I don’t know if I am always there during the barbie girl training hour or what, but it never fails. Maybe there was a Hot Blonde Training Special?

I just thought it was weird.

Tonight is the big overnight shift part of the annual inventory process. I tried to stay up a bit later last night to, you know. Adjust. It’s nice that I could sleep to noon on DST day. Hehe. But anyway, I entertained myself last night watching the YouTube. I was trapped in a Mad TV hole, but from back when it was funny. The Vancome Lady, MS. Swan, Antonia… It was awesome.

Today I leisurely woke up and sipped coffee. I walked up to the clubhouse to workout. The gym looks out over the pool area. Since it is an amazingly gorgeous San Diego day, the pool was packed with sunbathers. Girls were frolicking in the pool. Guys were adjusting their shorts as they sunned to get the ‘low rise jean’ tan. Needless to say, the view was pretty good from the stair-master today.

Now I am dressed and ready but i don’t want to go to work. Have to, but don’t want to. Someone enjoy a margarita on a patio for me okay??

Ugh. Today has wore me out! But I am in a great mood! Thanks to a certain coworker who agreed to a certain arrangement…

It’s like this: Sunday is a short day with only two manager shifts. You’re either 8-5 or 11:30-8:30. So he came in at two, and I left at two thirty. That’s six and a half working hours each. The only downside is no-one gets a lunch break. So what! He gets a nice Sunday morning with his family. I get to leave early enough for a workout or something.

No workout today, though. I have “jet-lag” from the inane DST bull-crap! I don’t care about some extra hour of sleep six months from now when I feel all wonky now. I have been in some sort of time freeze all day. I swear I lost more than one hour. I was on time for work, but lost track of it all and almost didn’t open for business on time. (looz-er!) Besides, it is hard to monitor peoples’ breaks all day when you have no sense of time!

Anyway, I got home early. It was a nice afternoon of talking to no-one, and doing nothing. Ahh.
