The air conditioner is on. The blinds are closed. We are staying in.

Luckily, due to a bit of foresight I have no real need to leave my dark, artificially cooled fortress. I have everything needed for a delicious BBQ chicken dinner. Additionally, I have tequila, margarita mix, and triple sec. Not to mention a bit of OJ! (I figure I’ll need the booze to be foolish enough to go out and cook over a pit of fire in this heat…) We may even watch a video or two…

So what are you doing today?

I feel so wierd since my a/c has been on since may and will be on till about october…hehe. I did venture outside of my cool, dark cave to shop today, but came home as fast as I could. After a thinderstorm, I swear the humidity went up to 150% ! I stayed in and gave the doggie a haircut and cooked dinner. Exciting, no?

cocktail: dirty, dirty martini!

well I stayed in most of the day, in the direct path of the fans. I have no A/C. I watched DVD most of the day, and tried to stay hydrated. I took a friend to Old Town for dinner. Now I’m back home in front of the fans.
